Explorer Scouts (14-18 years)
Shackleton is the local Explorer Scout Unit for young people of any gender aged 14 to 18, whether you have been in scouting before or not.
We offer:
- an active scouting programme
- opportunities to complete top Scouting awards (Chief Scout Platinum and Diamond Awards, and Queen’s Scout Award)
- access to the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme through scouting
- opportunities to do the Scout Young Leader Training Scheme if you enjoy volunteering with younger children
- a chance to meet other people your age and take control of your own challenges and activities
